Feta Cheese Recipes

Feta is a protected designation product, made from sheep's milk with up to thirty percent goat, and brined in barrels or tins. It is in more Greek dishes than any other single ingredient.

Greek cooking uses a narrow pantry very well. A handful of ingredients appear again and again, in different combinations and cooked in different ways, and knowing what each one does is more useful than memorising individual recipes.

Dishes built on it include Horiatiki salata, Spanakopita, Dakos, Saganaki, Tiropita and Garides saganaki.
